Pre-workshop checklist

What we need from AXA Partners.

A short list of what helps the workshop go well. None of it is heavy. The only firm asks are people in the room and a working space; everything else is welcome if it's around, and worked out together if it isn't.

01 · People

The right team in the room

Workshops fail when the wrong people show up. We need decision-makers, not delegates, and we need every domain represented.

Insurance / Product Lead Owns the product definition, coverages, exclusions, pricing logic. Authorised to make product decisions in the room.
Full workshop
Technical Lead / Architect Knows the AXA APIs end-to-end. Can answer questions on auth, payloads, callbacks, and rate limits without phoning a friend.

Claims / Operations Lead Owns the claims handler relationship, FNOL fields, SLAs, bordereau requirements, and operational reporting.
Phases 1-2
Compliance / Legal For approval of regulatory constraints, document templates, and the cooling-off / cancellation logic.

02 · Documents

Documents we need ahead of time

If any of this exists in usable shape, share it ahead of the workshop in a working folder. If it doesn't, no problem, we'll work it out in the room together. The list below is a checklist for what gets covered, not a homework assignment.

Product specification Coverages, sums insured, exclusions, eligibility rules, age limits, waiting periods, whatever exists, in whatever format.

Pricing model Tables, formulas, factors, however pricing is structured today. No need to translate it; we'll do that together.

API documentation Quote, issuance, MTA, cancellation, claims, callbacks. OpenAPI / Postman / PDF, whatever you have.

Document templates PDS, Certificate of Insurance, IPID, sample emails. PDFs of current production artefacts are perfect.
If available
Tax, fee, and commission structure IPT/VAT rates per market, premium-vs-commission tax treatment, broker/agent commission allocations.

Bordereau & reporting requirements Format, frequency, fields, recipients. Sample files are gold.

03 · Access

Access & environments

Sandbox / staging credentials Working API credentials for the AXA staging environment, issued to named Gangkhar engineers.
If possible, before
Test policy numbers / reference data Whatever IDs, codes, or partner references we'll need to issue test policies during the PoC.
From the start
A point person on Slack / Teams For the occasional question between now and the workshop, and someone available during the week. We don't expect heavy back-and-forth, just a name to ping.
Light-touch
04 · Logistics

Logistics & environment

A working space Room for 8-12 with a projector or large screen. We'll work digitally throughout, so no whiteboards needed.
Full workshop
Guest WiFi for the Gangkhar team Stable enough to demo a live PoC. We'll need to call our own backend and yours.
